Founded by York-based wedding photographer Robert Harrison, York Wedding Network was created with one simple aim — to bring together like-minded wedding professionals in a relaxed, friendly and down-to-earth environment.

After attending a mix of commercial and wedding industry networking groups, Robert saw the need for something different — something more genuine. No pressure for referrals. No awkward 60-second pitches. No sitting around a boardroom table or joining yet another WhatsApp group.

York Wedding Network is all about real connections. We meet at some of Yorkshire’s most beautiful wedding venues, enjoy a brew (or two), and have a good chinwag with fellow creatives and suppliers who truly get it.

A Refreshingly Relaxed Approach to Networking

We believe networking should be enjoyable, not intimidating. That’s why every event is designed to be informal, welcoming, and supportive — perfect for photographers, florists, stylists, planners, celebrants, venues and anyone who plays a part in a couple’s special day.

There are no hidden costs, no monthly memberships, and no yearly fees. The only time there’s a small charge is if a venue asks us to contribute towards drinks or hire — and even then, we keep it as low as possible. Most of our events are completely free to attend, making York Wedding Network one of the best value networking groups around.
